" ... simply stunning ..."

SIMPLY STUNNING - there is no better way to describe this property

About this Holiday House:  Open plan living; very private including the sparkling swimming pool and plenty of room for up to 8 guests.
Newly completed; the build quality and the owner's attention to detail has resulted in a home where the term "casual luxury" actually makes sense.

Through the front door, the home opens up to an expansive and fully sized - fully furnished kitchen overlooking the dining and living area. The opposite wall is all glass sliding doors leading out to the pool, BBQ area and outdoor dining including sun lounges.

Across the way are two very-very big master bedrooms that look out over the pool, each has its own four poster king-size bed, ensuite, lounge area, flatscreen TV and additional kid's rooms. The kid's rooms are accessed via the master bedrooms, each room has a single bed with a pull-out divan and includes their own balcony area.

Additionally to being private, the home is fully fenced. This home will comfortably accommodate 8 people in complete ‘casual comfort and luxury ‘

*** ALSO INCLUDED ***is a one-bed unit PLUS  a studio unit for owner/managers accommodation or for adding into the rental pool

Snorkeling is good surrounding the small island off our beach and a 10 minute walk to the south is the Fruits of Rarotonga, considered the best snorkeling on Rarotonga.
Walking distance to two local convenience shops, several cafés, the sailing club, five great restaurants, an internet cafe and butcher. There are also three moped / car rentals within 800 metres plus the Sailing Club and Koka Lagoon where you can rent paddle-boards, catamarans and snorkeling gear.

  • What is the weather like?

Anytime between January and December is perfect as the Cook Islands enjoy a pleasant warm and sunny climate all year round. June to August are slightly cooler months, November to March marks the warmer season, with occasional tropical showers. The drier months, from April to November, average 26°C. The warmer, more humid and damp season is from December to March, with temperatures ranging between 22°C (min) and 30°C (max).

  • Getting around on Rarotonga

It is very easy to get around using public transport. There are two buses which circle the island hourly; one clockwise the other anti-clockwise. The buses will stop anywhere along the main road. All you have to do is smile and wave them down.
There are a number of taxi companies.
Car and motorbikes can be hired (in fact there is a rental company over the road from Muri Beach Cottages). Bicycles can also be hired.
We drive on the left and the maximum speed limit is 50 kilometers per hour. In villages and near schools it is 30kph.
International visitors (over 16 years) can drive in the Cook Islands for up to six months using their overseas license. You will only be allowed to drive the class of motor vehicle that you are entitled to drive in your home country. The overseas license must be in English or a certified translation provided.
If you are renting a scooter and if your license does not show ‘motorbike’ you will need to go to the police station, have a test and get a Cook Islands drivers license.
